Happy Easter!

Christ is risen from the dead trampling over death, by death! Come awake, come awake! Come and rise up from the grave!

On Holy Thursday we went to Mass of the Lord's Supper.  Our parish did a stunning job with the liturgy. Breath taking music, foot washing, and procession to the Altar of Repose.

On Good Friday Evie and I went to the Seven Last Words of Christ reflections.  My good friend, Dennis, who is in seminary gave two two of the reflections.

Holy Saturday was a true day of mourning as we attended a memorial service for my high school friend who died from GBM.  Later we went to my grandparents for family dinner and egg hunt.

On Easter Sunday we went to the 7:30 Mass.  It's usually the most low key Mass.  It doesn't usually have music, which I miss. But it's also the least crowded.  It's like the insiders secret.

After we went to my parents house for brunch.  My grandparents came over and our good friends from Florida came over as well.  They're in town for a couple of months as one of them recovers from rare disease at a local hospital.

Egg hunt, baskets, naps, cards, and then supper!  Eric's sister and her husband came over since their parents are out of town.

We finished the night by watching the Masters and eating a yummy berry trifle.

We hope you had a "Happy Hoppy Easter" too!
