Eric and Elizabeth were introduced by their mutual friend, Sarah, at a Braves game on September 9, 2006. At the end of the evening, Elizabeth thought Eric would make a good hiking buddy, and sadly, Eric barely remembers the night. A month later, Sarah had a Notre Dame football game watch and party to which she invited both Elizabeth and Eric. That day Elizabeth jokingly told Eric she wanted to have his babies because he drove a Jeep Wrangler. After talking most of the night and taking the Jeep out for a drive, Eric finally realized they had a lot in common. He wanted to get to know her better. A few weeks later, Eric called Sarah to get Elizabeth’s number, not knowing the girls were out together! Eric asked Elizabeth to hike with him at Stone Mountain. Following the Stone Mountain hike, Eric asked Elizabeth out on an official date. Their first date was to dinner at Macaroni Grill followed by games at Dave and Busters on Halloween.
We were married in October of 2009 and have loved every second of marriage!
